LeashLink ("we", "us", "our") is a community mapping platform for dog owners in the United Kingdom. Our registered contact email is legal@leashlink.uk.

We collect the following personal and usage data when you use LeashLink:

• Dog profile data: name, breed, age, health notes, and photos you voluntarily add
• Location data: GPS coordinates when you log a walk, add a map point, or report a hazard
• Community contributions: walks, markers, hazards, dog bin reports, and lost dog alerts you submit
• Usage data: page visits and interactions to help us improve the app

We use your data to:

• Provide and improve the LeashLink service
• Display community map content contributed by you and other users
• Send hazard alerts and reminders you have opted into
• Maintain your dog profiles and health records
• Respond to support enquiries

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Community contributions (walks, markers, hazards) are visible to other users of the app. Your email address is never publicly displayed.

• Base44 — app infrastructure and database hosting
• Mapbox — map rendering and geocoding
• Ordnance Survey — UK map data
• Termly — consent management

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in and to understand how the app is used. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time using the Consent Preferences link in the app.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at legal@leashlink.uk.

Community contributions (e.g. walk routes, map points) may be retained in anonymised form to preserve the integrity of the community map.
